hey guys who else watched too many blade movies this weekend

i just felt like drawing something and this happened

oh hey. i painted this for a friend a couple weeks ago since they asked me to draw "something" for them sort of. this meets these criteria in that there are some things in it. i have not used watercolors in quite a while so it was pretty scary and i had to swear a lot to make it work.

i've yet to actually give it to them, much less show it to them, so maybe they will hate it or something even worse who knows. anyway, there it is.

while i was typing this i hurt my toe pretty bad. how does that even happen? (i was not typing with them)

Sadly, "Pale Vermillion" bit the dust (you see the death-throws on the Ice King) with just 3 dudes left in April. So "Scarlet Lake" has answered the call for May and the tail end of April. This is the only page of Dude a Day (hopefully) with a split color, which kind of enrages me!!!!!

Also, the dudes have claimed another wall-let thing of my apartment. I am not sure where to start putting them next, curse my poor planning

have you ever looked up a picture of an ewok and looked at it for any amount of time? like, really looked at it? it seriously just keeps getting weirder. it is the lips.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. sometimes i wish they had stopped making them after the first one and quit while they were ahead, but oh well. I guess if they had then we would not have harrison ford making hilarious faces while he is chewing out mola ram on the bridge in temple of doom.

uh oh, i've found something new to occupy myself with. i am not sure how many of these you, the viewer, will have to endure. but since there is a whole crapload of bond films (22, i think?), who can really say?

Steven Gettis, who runs a really awesome and massive project that is an "art collection of various artists interpreting their favourite literary figure/author/character" asked me if i would do a drawing for him. so i came up with this. you can click it for a larger version if you are into clicking for larger versions.

prismacolor markers generally stink as a rule, but man, this Spanish orange one reeks on a whole new level. rankest month to date!

this would have been more relevant several days ago, in that it would have been A) On Time and B) Closer to the whole watchmen-movie business. But there it is anyway. The last one was almost going to be Hooded Justice, but Moloch won out because it gave me an excuse for bawling-drunk edition Comedian.
