Also, up yours prismacolor. My "Sand" marker died on the last set of dudes, so i purchased a new "Sand" marker, only to find that "Sand" is apparently not what it used to be. bah!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Michigan to hang out with Mike, Craiggers and Pies in the woods and stuff. I ended up drawing a bit there, and here's a couple pages from my sketchbook - a large portion of which addresses the disturbing trend in fighting game character design which is simply "MORE BEEF." Some stuff I am not even going to bother to scan since it is layered so deep in in-jokes and digs at webcomics that I would be up all night typing up a reason for a drawing about "Foodu-Poundingu Man: American Eat Quest" to even exist in the first place.

Anyway:

so i've really been digging the trailers for the Where the Wild Things Are movie. They make me want to watch this movie. So I drew a picture real quick-like because i watched the trailer again! wow what a story huh now we are all caught up O/*\O

oh hello. things have been crazy for a bit. have a dude-a-day. this one was a suggestion (which i am kicking myself for not thinking of earlier), and is currently my favorite of them all. partially becasue if someone, from the future, told past-andy that "someday you will draw fanart of george clooney", i would have spat out my brandy, risen from my olde tymey overstuffed chair, and said "balderdash" or just "harumf"ed aggressively before peeling out on a penny-farthing bicycle.

to the nice people who email me asking if i sell prints: no, i do not sell prints. if i sold prints i would probably also then have to sell tee shirts with hilarious/ironic sayings on them and put a huge "DONATE VIA PAYPAL :(" link on my forehead and have a twitter account and oh my goooddddddddddd

I probably don't have to tell you about Kevin Dart's book featuring his character, Yuki 7, which is titled Seductive Espionage, or that it looks really awesome. So i will skip all that and just post some fanart.

hey guys who else watched too many blade movies this weekend

i just felt like drawing something and this happened

oh hey. i painted this for a friend a couple weeks ago since they asked me to draw "something" for them sort of. this meets these criteria in that there are some things in it. i have not used watercolors in quite a while so it was pretty scary and i had to swear a lot to make it work.

i've yet to actually give it to them, much less show it to them, so maybe they will hate it or something even worse who knows. anyway, there it is.

while i was typing this i hurt my toe pretty bad. how does that even happen? (i was not typing with them)

Sadly, "Pale Vermillion" bit the dust (you see the death-throws on the Ice King) with just 3 dudes left in April. So "Scarlet Lake" has answered the call for May and the tail end of April. This is the only page of Dude a Day (hopefully) with a split color, which kind of enrages me!!!!!

Also, the dudes have claimed another wall-let thing of my apartment. I am not sure where to start putting them next, curse my poor planning
